Hi, I’m Kacie.
I’m an acrylic artist inspired by faith, coastal life, and the quiet, everyday moments that often carry the most meaning. I love working with bold color and layered detail, using paint to tell stories of growth, gratitude, and grace----especially in seasons where things are still unfolding beneath the surface.
My hope is that each piece feels encouraging and honest, a small reminder that God is still at work, even in the waiting. I live and create in Rockport, Texas with my husband, our son, nephew, and a very full house of beloved cats.
Selected Recognition
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities my artwork has received over the years. My paintings have been featured in museums, galleries, publications, and film, and recognized through juried exhibitions and grants.
Some highlights include being a featured artist at the WMOA – Whataburger Museum of Art (2022), receiving the New Normal Rockport Grant, and having multiple works recognized in national and international juried art competitions. My work has also appeared in publications such as Texas Monthly, Texas Highways, Corpus Christi Caller-Times, and Los Angeles Times, and was featured in the 2023 film Only the Good Survive.
I never take these moments for granted,; they’re a reminder that art created with heart can travel farther than we expect.
