Handpainted Cross Hymn Block

These blocks are deeply personal to me.
They’re based on artwork my mom created years ago, hand-painted onto pages from vintage hymnals and sealed to last. Each one is completely unique, carrying the songs, the prayers, and the faith that filled those pages long before the paint ever touched them.
I’ve had one of these left  for years. I see it every single day sitting in my office. Pink cross with a yellow flower sitting among all trinkets that remind me of her. I think she painted this one around 2010.
 Through seasons of uncertainty, grief, growth, and becoming. It’s been a quiet reminder that even when I didn’t see it then, God was already working in the background. All along.
These pieces feel like proof of that. Proof that faith carries forward. That nothing God plants is wasted. That the seeds sown years ago still bear fruit in ways we don’t expect.
They aren’t just decor. They’re worship. Memory. Legacy.
